Ion Gets Rights to 7 Seasons of 'Without a Trace'

 Ion Television has acquired rights to all seven seasons -- that's 160 episodes -- of the drama series "Without a Trace" in a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

The show, about a special FBI task force known as the missing persons squad, and starring Anthony La Paglia, Poppy Montgomery, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Close, previously aired on CBS.

Broadcast network.

Ion has been offering off-network hit series in its primetime lineup that include shows like "Criminal Minds," "Ghost Whisperer" and "NCIS."

"The highly successful and critically acclaimed "Without a Trace" has enjoyed a strong and consistent network following," said Kristine Hunsinger, senior vp, planning, scheduling and acquisition, Ion Media Networks, said in a statement. "This series is the perfect complement to our primetime lineup of off-network series."

The series is from Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television. Hank Steinberg is the creator.
