The White House party crashers have a date with "Today."

NBC News just confirmed that fame whores Michaele and Tareq Salahi have been booked for Tuesday's edition of the morning show. They'll be interviewed by Matt Lauer.

The news comes a day after the dynamic duo ditched plans to talk to Larry King tonight. The New York Times also reported the couple had been soliciting "bids" from other media outlets who might be interested in paying cash for their trash.  NBC News policy prohibits cash payments for interviews.

As the Washington Post is already noting, "Today" is part of the same media empire that owns Bravo, the network behind the upcoming "Real Housewives of DC." Mrs. Salahi is auditioning for a spot on the show, though Bravo has said casting decisions are still months away.
