"The Simpsons" clan will rock out to Ke$ha's hit "Tik Tok" next month as part of a week of music-themed programming being dubbed "Fox Rocks."
For the first week of the May sweeps (April 29-May 5), a slew of Fox programming will feature lyrical undertones. Not much of a stretch given Fox is the home of "American Idol" and "Glee."
Homer, Marge and the gang will sing along to the Ke$ha smash during a musical couch gag at the show's open. The episode airs May 2, with an encore of "The Simpsons'" 450th episode airing at 7:30 p.m. the same night.
Also that Sunday, an hour-long 150th episode of "Family Guy" will be capped off with some never-before-broadcast musical numbers from the show, along with encores of popular "FG" ditties from the past. And "The Cleveland Show" will feature a guest appearance by Kanye West.
Other highlights of "Rock Week" (which MoJoe thinks should've been called "Rock Out With Your Fox Out Week"):
--Booth and Brennan perform a rockin' duet on the April 29 episode of "Bones," dubbed "The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle."
--The same night, "Fringe" features musical appearances by Olivia and Broyles. Really. (The name of the episode: "Brown Betty").
--The May 3 "House" has three of the show's doctors, including Dr. House, performing a Gladys Knight and the Pips tune.
--"Glee" features a guest appearance by Olivia Newton-John on its May 4 appearance. She performs "Physical" with Sue, natch.
