Is Snooki headed to South Beach?
MTV says nothing's been decided, but a report by Movieline has the network moving its breakout reality hit "Jersey Shore" to Miami for its second season.
The network recently signed the stars -- including Snooki, The Situation and co. -- to a redux, but quickly realized filming another season on the Jersey Shore would be too hard, given the cast's near-overnight fame.
MTV was said to be considering as many as nine locales to shoot season two -- including some outside the U.S.
According to Movieline, however, "Jersey Shore" has "committed to South Beach."
MTV, at least publicly, isn't confirming anything. "No location has been finalized," an MTV rep told TheWrap.
People familiar with the situation said MTV is still scouting a number of locations and that the network hopes to go into production soon.
