Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are getting married.
The former reality star turned jewelry designer revealed the news Monday night while taping a "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance that will air Friday.
When the talk show host asked Richie, 28, if she and Madden were married, the mom of two responded, "We're not. ... We actually recently got engaged."
Richie and the 30-year-old Good Charlotte singer began dating in 2006.
They have a daughter, Harlow, 2, and a son, Sparrow, 5 months.
