A lawyer for Steven Seagal, who was accused in a lawsuit of hiring women as assistants and then forcing them to perform sexual acts, calls the suit "a complete fabrication without a scintilla of truth," according to TMZ.
Seagal's lawyer, Marty Singer, responded to the lawsuit thus: "The lawsuit filed by Kayden Nguyen against Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired for using illegal narcotics." He also said he's confident the suit will be dismissed.
Meanwhile, TMZ also reports that the sheriff in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana -- where Seagal's A&E reality series "Steven Seagal: Lawman" is filmed -- will hold a news conference on the accusations against the actor at 12:30 PST on Wednesday.
Seagal is a reserve deputy for the local sheriff's office.
