(Updates with the character remaining on Popchips' YouTube channel as of Thursday afternoon)
Popchips has answered complaints of "brownface" by agreeing to pull an ad that featured "Two and a Half Men" star Ashton Kutcher as an Indian man looking for love.
Bollywood producer Raj is one of several characters featured in a series of ads for the snack company. While one featuring only Raj was pulled from Popchips' YouTube channel, an ad featuring all the characters, including Raj, remained online [4] as of Thursday afternoon.
Reps for Popchips and Kutcher did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.
But Popchips founder and CEO Keith Belling wrote [5]on the company's website that the company "worked hard to create a light-hearted parody featuring a variety of characters that was meant to provide a few laughs. We did not intend to offend anyone. I take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended."

The other characters played by Kutcher -- who the company has named its "President of Pop" -- include a fashionista, a sensitive, tattooed Southerner, and a dreadlocked stoner. All appear in dating-service style videos.
Raj says that he wants someone "Kardashian hot," adding, "I would give that dog a bone." He also talks about competing in a "milking contest."
Kutcher -- as Kutcher -- appears at the end of the clip and says to the camera, "Your waiting room is like a freak show ... are we all in the same category?"
