Not long ago, it seemed as if networks didn't give much thought to key art . Many promos featured little more than a cast shot, the name of the show in big print and the time it aired. But over the past 10 years, as many networks have started treating their biggest series as mini-movies, key art seems to have become much more ... well, key.
ABC's groundbreaking 2004 promotions for the premiere seasons of "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" featured images that would become iconic to the series. NBC likewise raised the bar with its stark posters for "Heroes."
