The finale of the teen vampire saga takes seven Razzies, including worst movie and worst actress for Kristen Stewart
‘‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2’’ was the big winner at the Razzies, the Academy Awards spoof kudos that celebrate the year's worst movies.
The Razzies, held on the eve of the Oscars, made the most of their last shot at the vampire love saga Saturday.
The “Twilight” series finale won seven awards, including worst film, worst actress for Kristen Stewart (her “Snow White and the Huntsman” performance was also factored in), worst director for Bill Condon and worst supporting actor for Taylor Lautner.
The "Twilight" finale also won for worst couple (Lautner and Mackenzie Foy), worst ensemble and worst remake, rip-off or sequel.
It beat out some stiff competition for worst picture. Also nominated were ‘‘Battleship,’’ Eddie Murphy's “A Thousand Words,” the tot-targeting box-office flop "Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure’’ and Adam Sandler's ‘'That’s My Boy.”
Sandler was a repeat winner as worst actor for his first R-rated comedy, which also took home the worst screenplay prize. Sandler won last year for “Jack and Jill.”
Pop singer Rihanna won worst supporting actress for her turn in the action misfire “Battleship.”
