‘Twilight’ Trio Bring ‘Eclipse’ Sneak to MTV Movie Awards

“Eclipse” werewolf Chaske Spencer will be red-carpet correspondent for viewers worldwide

It’s “Twilight” time at the “MTV Movie Awards”: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will present an exclusive scene from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “Eclipse” cast member Chaske Spencer is the official MTV International guest red carpet correspondent from the event.

A never-before-seen scene from “Eclipse,” which opens June 30, will be shown during the awards.

Spencer, who plays werewolf Sam Uley in “The Twilight Saga,” will man the mike on the red carpet as part of a special edition of “MTV at the Movies,” aimed at audiences outside the U.S.

Aziz Ansari hosts the “MTV Movie Awards,” airing live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 6.

Previously announced presenters include Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean “Diddy” Combs, the cast of “The Grown Ups” (Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider), Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Aubrey Plaza.

Also, Christina Aguilera will perform a song from her upcoming album “Bionic” (in stores June 8) and Katy Perry will perform her summer anthem “California Gurls,” the first single from her album “Teenage Dream” (out Aug. 24).

The awards show has added three categories: Global Superstar, Best Scared-as-S**t Performance and Biggest Badass Star. Fans worldwide can vote in the Global Superstar category via their local MTV websites.
