The Democratic party’s biggest stars are turning to Hollywood once again, to boost the party’s financial fortunes.

President Barack Obama arrives in Los Angeles at 2 p.m. on Thursday to attend two party fundraisers. The following day, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton will jet into town in an effort to boost her campaign’s coffers.

Clinton will attend three fundraisers on Friday. One is at the home of Janine and Peter Lowy. Another is at the home of Sonny Ward and Michael Lombardo. A third is at the home of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Maguire. All three events are sponsored by the Clinton campaign, which means that the most any individual can donate is $2,700.

Still, the events offer Clinton the opportunity to network and possibly an opportunity for Priorities USA Action, the SuperPac that is supporting her, to subsequently seek larger donations.

President Obama has a jam-packed schedule as well. The Democratic National Committee said on Wednesday that he will attend a reception/dinner at the Beverly Hills home of filmmaker Tyler Perry, and a roundtable discussion in Pacific Palisades hosted by prolific television producer Chuck Lorre.

Up to 250 people will be attending Perry’s event, contributing $2,500 to $33,400 each. Lorre’s event will be much smaller. The DNC said about 30 people are expected to attend and could contribute up to $33,400 each.

The president, who has been extremely successful in tapping Hollywood money for both his own campaign and Democratic coffers, will head to San Francisco at 11:40 a.m. on Friday.

The two visits are expected to impact traffic in the region. While the president’s exact route is kept secret for security reasons, the motorcade is expected to close roads and cause traffic congestion in West Los Angeles,  Beverly Hills and Pacific Palisades at various times during his visit.

The Los Angeles Police Department issued the following traffic advisory around 9 p.m. on Wednesday:
