Universal Announces Slew of Release Date Changes

“Devil,” “Adjustment Bureau” among seven films switched around on the schedule

Universal announced seven release-date changes Wednesday:

— "Devil"  has been moved from Feb. 11, 2011 to Sept. 17. Directed by Drew and John Dowdle ("Quarantine"), and co-written by M. Night Shyamalan, the film follows a group of people who, while stranded on a stuck elevator, discover that the devil is among them.

— "Skyline" will be released on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010. The "Cloverfield"-inspired film comes from first-time directors Colin and Greg Strause.

— "Kids in America" has been moved from Jan. 28, 2011 to Dec. 3. The romantic comedy stars Topher Grace and Anna Faris.

— "The Dark Fields"  has been moved from March 18, 2011 to Jan. 21, 2011. The thriller stars Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro and focuses on a copywriter who stumbles onto a rather extraordinary illicit drug.

— "Sanctum" will be switched from March 4, 2011 to Feb. 4, 2011. The James Cameron-produced 3D thriller focuses on a underwater cave diver who runs into trouble.

"The Adustment Bureau" moves from Sept. 17 to March 4, 2011. The Philip K. Dick adaptation stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.

 "Paul" will be released on March 18, 2011. The comedy stars Seth Rogen, Jane Lynch, Justin Bateman, Sigourney Weaver and Simon Pegg.
