‘Covert Affairs’ Star Chris Gorham Reveals the Biggest Mistake Directors Can Make (Video)

On another episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars,” the USA Network drama’s actor discusses taking the helm on Thursday’s episode

On this episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars,” “Covert Affairs” star Chris Gorham talked about his second swing at directing the USA Network drama’s new episode titled “River Euphrates” airing on Thursday.

Although one might assume it may be extremely difficult to be both a castmember and the director, Gorham told TheWrap’s senior TV writer Jethro Nededog that “the feedback I’ve gotten from our cast has been nothing but supportive.”

He continues to say he was unsure how they were going to react while directing, considering he is usually “goofing around and having a good time” on-set. However, he was pleasantly surprised to find it went extremely well.

Being on both sides, we asked what Gorham believes is the most crucial aspect of directing: “The biggest mistake a director can make, really is to not make a decision, indecisiveness will kill you,” said Gorham, who plays the blind Auggie Anderson, a former CIA special operative-turned-head of tech ops for the DPD (Domestic Protection Division).
