Film and television actress Anne Heche has enlisted for duty on USA Network’s upcoming six-episode event series, “Dig,” which will air later this year.
From co-creators and executive producers Tim Kring (“Heroes”) and Gideon Raff (“Homeland”), “Dig” stars “Awake” and “Harry Potter” star Jason Isaacs as Peter, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a young female archaeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making.
Heche will play Lynn, the head of the Jerusalem FBI office and Peter’s boss. She is also his only friend and occasional lover. Despite her sense of humor and soft side, Lynn is tough and isn’t afraid to take her team, including Peter, to task when they slip up.
The actress’s television credits include NBC’s “Save Me,” HBO’s “Hung,” ABC’s “Men in Trees,” BBC’s “Silent Witness” and the Lifetime movie “Gracie’s Choice.”
Her film credits include “Wag the Dog,” “Donnie Brasco,” “Cedar Rapids,” “Birth,” “Walking and Talking” and “Six Days, Seven Nights.”
