The HBO comedy returns for its second and final season on Sept. 17, the network announced on Thursday.

The trailer shows Gamby (McBride) about to go toe-to-toe with a tiger amid a melee in the halls of North Jackson High.

“My killer is coming back. And when he does, I’m going to be ready,” Gamby says in voiceover in the clip.

Season 2 follows Gamby and nemesis Russell (Walton Goggins) as they learn that the only thing more difficult than acquiring power is keeping it.

“Vice Principals” is created by McBride and Jody Hill, and David Gordon Green directs. McBride, Hill and Green are executive producers, along with Jonathan Watson and Stephanie Laing.

The 18-episode series co-stars Kimberly Hebert Gregory, Georgia King, Busy Phillips, Shea Whigham and Sheaun McKinney.
