Vin Diesel Shares His Emotional Moment With Paul Walker's Family

“I thought they needed my strength, but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs,” the actor wrote on Facebook

Vin Diesel‘s outpouring of grief for his former costar Paul Walker continued on Facebook late Friday, when the actor posted a peek into the first moments after he heard about Walker's death on Nov. 30.

“I thought they needed my strength, but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs,” Diesel wrote in the post, accompanied by a candid photo of the two actors together (above).

“[Walker's] mother hugged me and said I am so sorry,” he wrote. “I said sorry? You're the mother who lost a son?… She said yes, but you lost your other half.”

This was Diesel's second emotional post about his late friend. The actor shared his first thoughts on Dec. 2, two days after the crash in Valencia, California that took Walker's life.

“I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me,” Diesel wrote at the time.

Walker was the passenger of a Porsche driven by friend and business partner, Roger Rodas — who also died in the fiery crash. Preliminary autopsy information released on Wednesday revealed that both men died of multiple traumatic and thermal injuries resulting from a high-speed collision with a fixed object. Circumstances of the crash are still being investigated.

      Scripture says:

      James 1:27

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I think it obvious that he had a relationship with Christ. It is not what we say but rather what we do that makes one a disciple of Christ. The second greatest commandment is to love our neighbors as ourselves; and he was an example of that. I do not question his relationship with God.

Just Buried my older Brother on Thursday. I CAN imagine how his family feels. My Heart goes out to his Mother, as for my Mother, No parent should have to Bury their children. May the sun shine warm upon your face, & all the rains fall soft upon your fields, until we meet again, may God hold you in the Palm of his hand!!!

Posting on fb but, I will say that when we are called home, we want them and would love for our family members. Whether, it be husbands, wives, children as it is. However, “God!” determines when our purpose and jobs that he has set out for us to fulfill is complete , as sad as it may be reminded that when mothers have children and they are brought into this world, he only lent them to us for a while. Mr. Walker, you are loved, appreciated for who you were, the job of entertaining that you gave so many and a job well done in many roles. Your friends, family be joyful and if you cry let them be tears of joy. Those who have nothing righteous to say have to remember that we all have to reap what we sow (karma) but, little do they understand that we are not a perfect people and have flaws, make mistakes but, no one knows but, you and your maker your last words with him! Judging is not our job but his. So those with the cruel remarks , I can only pray that you are given the chance to forgive, make your life, fulfill your purpose and finish the job that he has for you before your 9 to5 job is done and you are on your way home but, which home will you go too. To your family and all the loved ones, stay strong and finish the job as he would have. With all my Love and Prayers. He showed and gave great presence.

I met the man and we will meet again FOUR SURE
. R.I.P. My friend. PAUL WALKER

This article is about the feelings Vin Diesel felt over the loss of his friend and co-star. When we go to the movies and watch actors on the big screen or at home we do allow a part of them to enter into our lives and their passing has an effect even if we never met them in person so this article is a small insight into how this affected Vin Diesel.

Paul was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who's focus is on Jesus Christ the Savior and Redeemer, his life, teachings, and Atonement. Paul was serving his neighbor the 2nd greatest scriptural commandment. May he and his friend find the peace they are afforded to by Christ and may God bless both families!
