Warner Bros. Sets ‘Dream’ Executive Team at DC Entertainment

Company names co-publisher, chief creative officer, others

Warner Bros.’ DC Entertainment has filled out its executive management team.

The company, founded by Warner Bros. last fall to oversee the DC Comics library of characters, named Jim Lee and Dan DiDio co-publishers of DC Comics.

Lee, who had previously served as an editorial director, began his career as a comic book illustrator/creator/publisher at Marvel Comics, where he worked on "X-Men." DiDio most recently served as SVP and executive editor at DC Universe.

The company also named Geoff Johns as its chief creative officer.

Also on Thursday, DC Entertainment appointed a pair of EVPs: John Rood for sales, marketing and business development, and Patrick Caldon for finance and administration. Both Rood and Caldon will report directly to Diane Nelson, DC Entertainment’s president.
