Watch Carrie Fisher’s Brilliant Last TV Appearance on British Panel Show (Video)

“I love food hair jokes,” the Princess Leia actress said when asked if she ever gets tired of people putting donuts on their heads

Carrie Fisher was a celebrity guest on “8 Out of 10 Cats,” a British comedy panel show, for its Dec. 21 Christmas special–it was, it seems, her last television appearance before her death on Tuesday. You can view the entire episode above.

The show opened up with the host, Jimmy Carr, introducing the first round “What Are You Talking About?” where the panelists are required to guess the top 3 things the British love about Christmas.

Before answering the question, the panelists marveled at the idea that the Princess Leia actress was actually on the show with them, and “8 Out of 10 Cats” being a comedy show, it naturally segued into some “Star Wars” jokes — mostly about comedian Joe Wilkinson’s uncanny resemblance to Chewbacca.

Then Carr pivoted, asking the actress where she will be spending Christmas dinner.

“At my mother’s house next door,” stated the late actress, to which Carr responded that it sounded like a nightmare having the family next door.

“Or a reality show that we don’t film,” Fisher came back pithily.

Fisher said neither she nor her mother (actress Debbie Reynolds) would do any food prep, but that wasn’t because they couldn’t cook. She said she learned to cook later on in life when she learned “later on when I found out other people did these things yourself,” a gag on her Hollywood upbringing.

“It’s really embarrassing, please forgive me. I didn’t raise me,” Fisher joked.

When another panelist asked her if she ever got tired of people picking up donuts and putting them to their ears in mockery of Princess Leia.

“I never get sick of that all. I beg people to do it,” said Fisher. “I love food hair jokes.”

“8 out of 10 Cats” is a British television comedy panel show hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr on the UK’s Channel 4. The show consists of two teams lead by team captains who are joined by celebrity guests–this episode’s guests happened to be Fisher and Brad and James from The Vamps–who are supposed to answer questions based on opinion polls, statistics and surveys.

Carrie Fisher, the writer and actress immortalized as Princess Leia in “Star Wars,” died after suffering a heart attack on a transatlantic flight last week. She was 60.

Though the “8 Out Of 10 Cats” spot was her last screen appearance prior to her death,” Fisher’s career will continue for a bit longer — she will appear in “Star Wars Episode VIII” in 2017, as well as the Netflix documentary series “Cooked.”
