Watch Final ‘Wonder Woman’ Trailer Dropped at MTV Movie & TV Awards (Video)

The 150-second teaser has all the action to tide you over until the movie lands in a few weeks

Warner Bros. used the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday to kick off the final marketing push for its summer tentpole “Wonder Woman,” dropping one last trailer ahead of the June release.

You can check out the trailer above.

Notably, the trailer reveals a little bit more of the villain of the summer flick, Dr. Poison (Elena Anaya), though the ad campaign is still playing it close to the vest with regard to actually showing much of her — the trailer only gives us a pair of shots of Dr. Poison, one of which we saw in a previous trailer.

Otherwise, the trailer is largely made up of a lot of butt-kicking action, plus a joke about Diana (Gal Gadot) having to dress up in “lady clothes” and being irritated about how it’s impossible to fight in those stupid dresses.

“Wonder Woman” is the fourth movie in the fledgling DC Extended Universe of movies, which began with “Man of Steel” in 2013 and continued last year with “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad.” This one, however, is a prequel to those movies, taking place in the era of World War I.

“Wonder Woman” stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine and is directed by Patty Jenkins. You’ll be able to finally see the first major female-led superhero movie when it launches on June 2 in the U.S.
