Watch Keith Urban Tell Nicole Kidman About the Time a Prosthetic Leg Was Thrown at Him (Video)

Talk about a unique autograph request

Keith Urban fans, or Urban’s Army as they are called, are an excitable group who will go to extreme lengths to get an autograph. And when we say extreme, we mean extreme.

Long before he met his wife, Nicole Kidman, Urban found himself in what he thought would be a fun moment between him and a female fan at one of his concerts.

“Years ago, I was doing a concert in this big venue and somebody in the crowd yelled out, ‘Will you sign my leg?’” the country music superstar said on BBC America’s “The Graham Norton Show.” Thinking it would be fun to bring her up on stage, he shouted back, “Yeah! Come on up here!”

Urban said that the fan sort of disappeared for a minute and he couldn’t see her head. “The next thing, she reappeared… and then lobbed this prosthetic leg [at me]. He signed it but then wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.

“I thought, ‘What’s the correct prosthetic leg returning etiquette?’” he joked. “Do you throw it? Do you serve it? Do you say, ‘Hop up here.’”
