U.S. audiences got one of their first looks at teen pop phenomenon Lorde, who dazzled a “Live on Letterman” audience with performances of her hit “Royals” and other songs from her debut album, “Pure Heroine.”
The New Zealand 17-year-old was the latest performer to give a streamed performance from the Ed Sullivan Theater in conjunction with a “Late Show” performance. Besides delivering “Team” on the air Tuesday, she performed “Tennis Courts” and “White Teeth Teens” in a 27-minute online set.
