Watch Matthew McConaughey’s Mom Get Tough on ‘West Texas Investors Club’ (Exclusive Video)

New episode of CNBC series airs tonight at 10 p.m.

Matthew and Rooster McConaughey’s mom has no time to pull punches in a new episode of “West Texas Investors Club.”

In this exclusive clip of the episode, Mama McConaughey — whose given name is Mary Kathlene McCabe — is enlisted to help test out a new type of walking poles for seniors. Also in this episode, a business-savvy entrepreneur from New York City must prove that his maple water brand has mass appeal.

The series follows Mike “Rooster” McConaughey and his friend and business partner Butch Gilliam, both self-made millionaires in Texas’ oil fields, who now look for entrepreneurs with business ideas in which they can invest. The series also features Gil Prather, a friend of McConaughey’s who is not an investor.

In the first season of “West Texas Investors Club,” McConaughey (brother of Oscar winner Matthew) and Gilliam invested $1.97 million in the ideas of aspiring entrepreneurs.

“West Texas Investors Club” premieres tonight on CNBC at 10 p.m. ET and is produced by Charlie Ebersol’s the Company.
