Watch Stephen Colbert’s Incredible Tribute to Boston (Video)

Colbert says "whoever did this obviously did not know s— about the people of Boston"

Stephen Colbert delivered a beautiful, funny, stirring tribute to the strength of Boston in his first "Colbert Report" since the Boston Marathon bombings.

"Whoever did this obviously did not know s— about the people of Boston," he said. "'Cause nothing these terrorists do is gonna shake them. For Pete's sake, Boston was founded by the pilgrims, a people so tough they had to buckle their goddamn hats on."

From there he praised everyone from the Boston Red Sox to Aerosmith to the marathon runners themselves, who he called "people who run 26 miles on their day off until their nipples are raw — for fun."

Some of those runners, he said, kept running for two miles after the marathon was over, because they wanted to get to a hospital to donate blood.

This is one of the best thing's Colbert's ever done. You should watch it:
