Watch the Moment Hulu’s New ‘Runaways’ Discover Their Parents Are Evil in First Trailer (Video)

“This is some Narnia sh–“

Hulu is the latest to jump on the Marvel wagon, and the first trailer for the original series “Runaways” just dropped ahead of their panel at New York Comi-Con.

The series is based off the 2003 comic “Marvel’s Runaways,” a story about six teenagers who don’t get along but must stand up to their parents … who happen to be super villains.

In the trailer, we see one parent telling his son, Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz, “Casual”) not to give up on his friends, even if they’re annoying or mean, because childhood friendship will never come around again. Later, we see Alex and his buds walk in on their parents performing some sort of evil ritual after discovering a secret passageway in his house.

“This is some Narnia sh–,” he says, then leads the group down a very mysterious-looking staircase.

“You don’t have to hide who you really are,” one teenager says later in the trailer, voiced over several in the group discovering they have powers of their own, and extolling neat adolescent lesson.

The show premieres on Hulu on Nov. 21, just in time for all those bored teens to watch while they’re stuck at home for Thanksgiving break.
