Watch ‘Tickled’ Filmmaker Face Threats Digging Into Underground Fetish (Exclusive Video)

Documentarian David Farrier stumbles into a world of secret identities, criminal activities — and tickling

New Zealand journalist David Farrier never imagined a bit of tickling would have so many consequences.

In an exclusive clip from his mysterious new documentary “Tickled,” the international TV correspondent is confronted with a dark network of false identities, alleged criminal activity and legal and physical threats all over his pursuit of what he thought to be an amusing story.

“His letter told us to stop what we were doing, or else,” Farrier says of one attorney in the clip, warning him away from a network of websites all specializing in what they called “Extreme Competitive Tickling.”

The content features young athletic men bound or pinned down and submitting to the giggle-inducing treatment. The further Farrier presses, the more nightmarish the response — culminating in a dark and outrageous reveal.

Check out an exclusive clip from the film above.

“Tickled” hits select theaters June 17.
