The studio acquired the rights to Jamie McGuire’s novel of the same name this summer for Donald De Line, left, to produce. A New York Times bestseller, the story revolves around a young woman trying to leave her past behind and start a clean-cut life when she goes to college.

Her plans are disrupted by a young man, described as a “walking one-night stand,” who makes a bet with her: If she loses she must live in his apartment, and if he loses he must abstain from his fun-loving ways for a month.

Hart is also writing the script for the upcoming Civil War drama “The Keeping Room,” with Olivia Wilde, Hailee Steinfeld and Nicole Beharie. Hart is represented by WME. She is also repped by Anonymous Content.
