THE REAL “REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY”
On Sunday’s “Watch What Happens: Live,” Bravo exec/”Real Housewives” daddy Andy Cohen asked if Teresa Giudice has become this season’s Danielle Staub. If he was asking if Giudice has become the housewife her castmates love to hate, then the answer appears to be yes.
Last week ended with a Twitter meltdown by “RHONJ” star Jacqueline Laurita, one-time BFF of Giudice, who is now calling Giudice “scum” and accusing her of some nasty tactics involving Giudice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com reports there may be trouble in Giudice’s marriage, and previews of the Oct. 9 “RHONJ” third-season finale suggest that by the end of the hour, another “RHONJ” cast member, Caroline Manzo, will be at war with Giudice because of some nasty comments Giudice made about Manzo in her cookbook.
“SOUTH PARK” RETURNS
Cartman and pals aren’t yet teenagers, but the irreverent ‘toon is, as “South Park” returns for the second half of its 15th season on Oct. 5.
In an episode titled “Ass Burgers,” Cartman thinks he has Asperger’s syndrome and comes up with an unusual way of dealing with it. Kyle and Kenny help him out, but poor Stan is still trying to deal with the trauma caused by his 10th birthday.

To celebrate the return of the series, Comedy Central also premieres writer/director Arthur Bradford’s documentary “Six Days to Air: The Making of ‘South Park,’” next Sunday. The special follows “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker as they labor over one episode of the series.
TV ON DVD
Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose with the chance to watch all five seasons of “Friday Night Lights” on DVD with the release of “Friday Night Lights: The Complete Series” (Universal Home Entertainment). Sure, you could download them all and save some cardboard, but this is among the few DVD box sets that might actually deserve some of your bookcase real estate, with episode commentaries, deleted scenes and the cast panel from the Paley Television Festival.
Also worth some room on the shelf: the limited edition Blu-ray release of “Planet Earth” (BBC/Warner Home Video), which looks incredible on Blu-ray and comes packaged in a cool limited edition, numbered globe.
“SONS OF ANARCHY” RIDIN’ HIGH
The fifth episode of season four airs Tuesday (10 p.m.), and the slow burn surrounding how John Teller died is bursting into a raging inferno that threatens to not only ruin SAMCRO, but also to put more than one person on Clay’s (Ron Perlman) hit list.

Piney (William Lucking) and Tara (Maggie Siff) know too much about what became of SAMCRO co-founder J.T., and hotheaded Clay is willing to do whatever is necessary to protect his secrets. Meanwhile, Juice (Theo Rossi) is under pressure from new sheriff Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar) to offer up some dirt on the club and Otto (series creator Kurt Sutter) demands some justice for his wife’s murder. That’s where guest star David Hasselhoff — yes, you read that correctly — comes in.
RANDOM TV GUEST STARS
Ralph Malph on “Glee”? Yep, Donny Most, best known for playing redheaded wisecracker Malph on “Happy Days,” pops up as Emma’s (Jayma Mays) pop this week on “Glee.” And in even more out there guest star news, Lily Tomlin plays McGee’s (Sean Murray) grandma on “NCIS.” “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker, meanwhile, is a guest judge on “America’s Next Top Model” (okay, he’s there to choose a contestant for a guest role, but still, weird). And Michael J. Fox, Michael Douglas and “True Blood” marrieds Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer pop in for the “Phineas and Ferb” Halloween episode on Friday.
