Ahead of “The Flash” series premiere, DC executive Geoff Johns has shared the first two photos of Wentworth Miller as comic book villain Captain Cold, who will appear in upcoming episodes of the CW drama.

Johns, DC’s Chief Creative Officer, took to Instagram to reveal the photos of Miller in costume as Leonard Snart, who also goes by the villainous codename Captain Cold. The villain — known for his ruthless cunning, personal discipline, and occasional glimmers of kindness and humanity — has battled The Flash in the DC comics for half a century. Captain Cold’s first appearance on “The Flash” will be in the fourth episode.

In episode 10, Captain Cold will make another appearance and will be joined by Mick Rory, a fire-frenzied bad guy also known as Heat Wave. That character will be played by Miller’s “Prison Break” on-screen brother, Dominic Purcell.

As TheWrap previously reported, it was Miller’s idea that this new on-screen team-up also be a “Prison Break” reunion.

“I was on set talking to him and I asked, ‘Hey, if we were going to have you team up with somebody, is there someone you want to work with?’” said Johns. “We talked about the character a bit and he said, Dominic, without missing a beat.”

“The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
