‘The View’: Whoopi Goldberg Slams ‘Friend’ Donald Trump as Global Negotiator (Video)

“As an American, I don’t want him representing me,” co-host says Monday

Donald Trump isn’t the right person to represent the U.S. internationally, “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said Monday.

“As an American, I don’t want him representing me,” Goldberg said. “He’s a friend, I like him as a person. I don’t want him representing me. I don’t want him talking to the chancellor of Germany.

“And I need to know how he’s going to handle Korea, you know, because now there’s all kind of stuff going on,” she said. “This fool is over there, Kim Jung Yum Yum Jr., is talking about — he’s trying to flex and stuff and I don’t think I want Trump to be the one talking to him.”

Co-host Michelle Collins also took a swipe at the GOP frontrunner, comparing him to a certain villain who shall not be named.

“The thing is Trump is like Voldemort, the more you say his name, the stronger he gets. So we should just try not saying his name,” Collins said.

“Unfortunately, we’re on a TV show. That is required, because we have to talk about what we think. This is an opinion show, so you have to kind of go after what you believe,” Goldberg replied. “The reason that we’re all here as individuals is because we represent a great deal of what people think.”
