Will Christine O’Donnell Go ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

Former U.S. Senate candidate says she’s mulling a run on the show

Christine O'Donnell failed to land a U.S. Senate seat in the 2010 elections, but could she snag a mirror-ball trophy?

The Tea Party favorite said on her Facebook page that she's been offered a slot on the ABC hit, writing Monday, "FACEBOOK EXCLUSIVE: I just got the official 'ask' from 'Dancing With the Stars'!!"

O'Donnell added that she's still undecided whether to join the Season 12 cast, citing her lack of rug-cutting skills: "Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as my two-year-old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!!"

She yielded the debate to Facebook's digital floor, asking, "What do you think?"

O'Donnell would join such past notable conservative contestants as Bristol Palin and former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

ABC declined to comment, telling TheWrap, "Though we don't comment on casting rumors, we will announce the new 'Dancing With the Stars' cast live [on] Monday night, February 28 on ABC."

That's during "The Bachelor," for anyone who wants to watch. In the meantime, we'll have to tap our toes in anticipation.
