The trio will produce a single-camera comedy, "Bad Judge," for the network, an NBC spokesman told TheWrap on Tuesday.
The project will revolve around "a hard living, sexually unapologetic woman who plays with the law, whose life on the edge is constantly in balance as she also happens to be a Judge in the Criminal Court system."
"Bad Judge" will be produced by Universal Television.

The project further solidifies the relationship between NBC and Heche, who will star in the comedy "Save Me" for the network. In that project, Heche will play Beth, a woman who lets herself go while in a broken marriage. She goes through a transformation in which she becomes the best version of herself and creates miracles.
Deadline first reported the news of "Bad Judge."
