Will Ferrell’s Old Milwaukee Ads = A Tall, Frosty Mug of ‘Huh?’ (Video)

"Anchorman" star agrees to pitch budget beer for free, only in Iowa, because that makes perfect sense

Will Ferrell must have a little bit of free time on his hands these days.

The "Anchorman" actor has once again confounded the world's expectations, this time by filming a series of ads for Old Milwaukee beer that are airing in Davenport, Iowa.

Yes, Old Milwaukee. Yes, only in Davenport.

According to beer blog Kegworks, the "Talladega Nights" funny man approached the Pabst Brewing Company and offered to do the ads, free of charge — on the condition that they only be aired locally in Davenport.

Hey, don't question the man's methods — just revel in his kooky grandeur.

While multiple ads have been produced, the spot below, in which Ferrell attempts to turn the name "Davenport" into a suds-related acronym, is our favorite so far. Crack open a cold one and check it out.
