"The Wire" star Wendell Pierce has joined the cast of Summit Entertainment's "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," the studio announced on Wednesday.
Other actors joining the cast in supporting roles include Olga Fonda, Janelle Froehlich, Masami Kosaka, Sebastiao Lemos, Amadou Ly, Ty Olsson and Carolina Virguez.
Bill Condon is directing the two-part sequel, which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Melissa Rosenberg is adapting Stephenie Meyer's novel, and the author is producing the film with Wyck Godfrey and Karen Rosenfelt.
"Breaking Dawn: Part 1" will hit theaters on Nov. 18, 2011, while "Part 2" will be released the following year, on Nov. 16, 2012.
