WME’s Sean Perry Named President of the Hollywood Radio & TV Society

The agency’s non-scripted TV head has been on the HRTS board of directors since 2008

William Morris Endeavor agent Sean Perry will be the next president of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, the group announced Monday.

Perry is the co-head of the agency's non-scripted TV department and has been on the HRTS board of directors since 2008.

The HRTS will kick off its annual luncheon series with a panel of network TV executives Tuesday in Beverly Hills.

SEAN PERRY ELECTED PRESIDENT OF
HOLLYWOOD RADIO AND TELEVISION SOCIETY (HRTS) 
 
LOS ANGELES, CA., October 10, 2011 –The Hollywood Radio and Television Society’s (HRTS) Board of Directors elected William Morris Endeavor (WME) partner Sean Perry as the new President of HRTS for the 2011 – 2013 term.  Perry succeeds former HRTS President Kevin Beggs who is President, Lionsgate Television Group.
 
Perry, who is co-head of WME’s non-scripted television department, has been on the HRTS Board of Directors since 2008, and he recently co-chaired the Unscripted Hitmakers Newsmaker Luncheon in April 2011.
 
“I’ve been honored to serve as HRTS President for the past three years and during that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with Sean,” said Beggs. “He has been one of our most active board members and will be a terrific leader moving forward.”
 
“I am honored and humbled to take on this role, one that Kevin Beggs has so adeptly filled over the past three years.  More than anything, I’m proud to be a part of the HRTS, which provides a community for our business, Perry added.
 
In addition, Ian Moffit, head of Digital Video at Berman Braun is the new Vice President; Martha Henderson, Executive Vice President, Entertainment for City National Bank has been re-elected Treasurer; and Kelly Goode, producer for GSN is the new Secretary.
 
HRTS Executive Director Dave Ferrara, who joined HRTS is that position in 2003, has also been re-upped to a new three year deal.
