Florida mother of three appeared on show in dispute over engagement ring she’s accused of throwing over a balcony

Police are searching for a Florida woman who went missing Thursday after what her mother called a "humiliating" appearance on "The People's Court."

Michelle Parker appeared on the show in a dispute with her former fiancé, Dale Smith, over a $5,000 engagement ring she was accused of throwing over a hotel balcony during am alcohol-fueled fight.

Her mother, Yvonne Stewart, told ABC News that when Parker returned from the taping of the how in the summer, she described it as "the most humiliating experience of my life," adding, "I don't even ever want to see it. I wish I had never gone."

Parker, 33, of Orlando, disappeared hours after the episode aired Thursday. She left her 3-year-old twins with Smith, their father, that afternoon. He is believed the be the last person to have seen her, but police said he is not a suspect.

Parker, who also has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, said on the show that she had a contentious relationship with Smith.

"He gets pretty malicious and vindictive and he's a mean person, especially when he's been drinking," she said at one point. At another, she said, "He shouldn't have put his hands on me and shouldn't have put his hands on me prior." She also said he had "left me three or four times over the past year and a half that we've been together."

She also accused him of cheating on her with at least seven other women, and the pair argued over visitation rights for the twins. Smith, a former Marine, was also egged on by Judge Marilyn Milian as he described his hobby of attending sci-fi conventions dressed as his favorite characters.

Parker's mother said Smith is a good parent and is broken up over Parker's disappearance.

"He is crying every time I talk to him on the phone," Stewart said. "He loves my daughter. They just didn't get along."

Stewart said she is afraid that someone is holding her daughter captive.

"We hope for Michelle Parker's safe return," a representative for "The People's Court" said in a statement. The show declined to respond to questions about Parker's appearance.
