As we crawl closer to the release of Warner Bros.’  “Wonder Woman,” director Patty Jenkins gave CinemaCon 2017 a bigger taste of her villain, and the connection between her two leads.

Gal Gadot introduced Jenkins and her co-star Chris Pine to a packed theater in Las Vegas on Wednesday, who then played two lengthy clips from the June release.

The first was a boat ride, presumably from Wonder Woman’s island home of Themyscira en route to London.

We learned that Wonder Woman is in pursuit of Ares, the God of war, who she’s convinced is influencing the German soldiers in the period action flick.

While the hero, a.k.a. Diana Prince, attempts to save the world — Pine just wants to get to know her better. The scene sees him explain the concept of marriage to our superhero.

Once in London, the pair have a confrontation with a pickpocket on the street — and we see her famous Lasso of Truth at work.

Gadot made her first appearance as Wonder Woman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” which debuted to $166 million at the box office this past spring.

The standalone “Wonder Woman,” from director Jenkins, also stars Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis and Danny Huston.

“Wonder Woman” will be released in theaters on June 2, 2017.
