Celebrities tweeted out words and pictures of encouragement during the match, and in wake of the men’s defeat to Belgium

Team USA was knocked out of the World Cup Tuesday, but even elimination couldn’t stop Hollywood from supporting the men’s national soccer team on Twitter and Instagram.

The team advanced further than most expected, after all, and fans — A-listers and Average Joes alike — were extremely proud of their country’s effort.
