‘Younger’ Characters Get Dolled Up in New Season 2 Teaser (Exclusive Video)

TV Land comedy starring Sutton Foster returns for Season 2 on Wednesday Jan. 13

The characters from TV Land’s “Younger” become dolls in a new series of promos for the comedy’s second season called “Younger Unauthorized.”

The first installment sees a dolled-up version of Sutton Foster’s Liza torn between Doll Josh and Doll Charles, much like her human counterpart in the series.

Creator Darren Star recently teased that there would be “a lot of twists and turns” in the show’s second season, set to premiere on Jan. 13.

“I think the world of the show opens up for everybody,” he said, explaining that the series’ supporting cast will be featured more heavily this year. “The lines are getting blurred a little bit between the worlds in the next season.”

The network also announced Wednesday that the series had been renewed for a third season.

“Younger” is executive produced and created for television by Star, whose previous credits include”Sex and the City,” “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Melrose Place.”

In addition to Foster, the show stars Hilary Duff (“Lizzie McGuire”), Debi Mazar (“Entourage”), Miriam Shor (“GCB”) and Nico Tortorella (“The Following”).

“Younger” Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. on TV Land.
