YouTube personality Lilly Singh — also known by her username, IISuperwomanII — is not here for racism. The Internet superstar tore apart her haters in her latest video, called “A Geography Class for Racist People.”
The video is a response to a commenter who told her to “go bak to ur country, you terrorist paki afghan indian muslim slut #MakeAmericGreatAgain.” Incidentally, Singh is from Toronto, Canada and identifies as Sikh.
Singh opens the nearly five-minute-long video with, “When something horrible happens in the world, you’ll see the rise of two types of people
- People who don’t let fear divide them and instead choose to come together
- Racist idiots who don’t deserve an Internet connection”
After reading the aforementioned negative comment and noting the commenter’s bad grammar, she then gives a rapid-fire geography lesson, pointing out that Pakistan, India and Afghanistan are separate countries. She leaves no shade un-thrown with her intelligently snarky quips.
As Singh suggested, “If you’re going to be racist, at least do it right.”
The video was posted to YouTube on Thursday and has amassed nearly 2 million views. You can watch it above.
