The biggest prizes of Sunday’s 2019 BET Awards went to Cardi B, Regina King, and Spike Lee’s “BlacKkKlansman.”

Regina Hall hosted the year’s biggest celebration of African-American artists, entertainers, athletes and more, and the evening was full of special performances including tributes to Mary J. Blige and late rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Cardi B took home Album of the Year for “Invasion of Privacy” after leading the evening with seven total nominations. Regina King walked away with the award for Best Actress, and Best Movie went to “BlacKkKlansman.”

Performers included Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, Cardi B, Migos, Lizzo, Meek Mill, City Girls, DJ Khaled, Kiana Lede, Lil Baby, Lucky Daye, and Mustard.

Four special honorees were recognized on their own — late rapper Nipsey Hussle was remembered with the Humanitarian Award; Mary J. Blige received a musical tribute from artists (plus a shout out from Rihanna) to go with her Lifetime Achievement Award; Tyler Perry received the Icon Award (watch his speech here), and activist Chakabars received the Global Good Award.
