Jennifer Lawrence on Saturday shot down the suggestion that Harvey Weinstein had ever slept with her, an accusation that came to light in a lawsuit filed against the disgraced indie mogul earlier this week.

On Wednesday, an unnamed woman filed a lawsuit accusing the mogul of inviting her to his hotel suite during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, masturbating in front of her while she was using the bathroom and ejaculating onto her skirt. The suit, which said that Weinstein “forcibly performed oral sex” on her, also alleged that he bragged to the woman: “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence.”

The actress, who won an Oscar for the 2012 Weinstein-produced drama “Silver Linings Playbook,” denied that any such event took place.

“My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein,” Lawrence said. “I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”

The suit, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, said that the plaintiff — referred to as “Jane Doe” — first met Weinstein in January 2013 during the Sundance Film Festival, where she gave him her card in case there were opportunities for auditions.

A Weinstein representative told TheWrap in a statement that there is “absolutely no truth” to the lawsuit’s accustaions.
