Mark Cuban dished out advice to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Sunday, encouraging her to “be a radical” but also suggesting she drop the “partisan language” because “we are all in this together.”

The billionaire and political activist reached out to the newly sworn-in Democratic member of the House of Representative, fostering her forward momentum while also advising her to tone down the one-sided labels that divide.

“Be a radical, Be different,Be a change leader Innovate. It’s your generation’s turn to govern,” he wrote. “Go for it. But please leave our bad habit of using partisan language ‘Us vs Them”Rep vs Dem’ ‘Libs vs Cons’ behind..We are all in this together. Change the Game to Change the World.”

The “Shark Tank” investor was responding to AOC’s Saturday tweet in which she criticized Rep. Steve Scalise. “You’re the GOP Minority Whip. How do you not know how marginal tax rates work?” she wrote. “Oh that’s right, almost forgot: GOP works for the corporate CEOs showering themselves in multi-million bonuses; not the actual working people whose wages + healthcare they’re ripping off for profit.”

Cuban, who has toyed with the idea of running as a Republican in the 2020 presidential race, said Sunday that “now would be a great time for the new generation of politicians, across the board, to take a new approach” because “the partisan approach doesn’t work.”

He insisted that he’s not putting the weight of the country on AOC’s shoulders, but rather, letting her know that “it’s an OPPORTUNITY for her and other incoming freshman to do something special for our country.”
