Pray to the Old Gods and the New that the “Game of Thrones” cast is doing alright now, months after filming has wrapped on the show’s eighth and final season. Because, according to Kit Harington, that last season “seemed to be designed to break us.”

With production ending over the summer and the cast and creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss now moving on to promoting the HBO fantasy epic’s final six episodes — which premiere in April — it seems Jon Snow has come to realization he knows something, and that’s that this process was intense.

“Everyone was broken at the end,” Harington told GQ Australia, in an interview published Tuesday. “I don’t know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f—ing tiring.”

“We were sleep deprived,” he continued. “It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I’m f—ing sick of this.’ I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, ‘I’ve had enough now. I love this, it’s been the best thing in my life, I’ll miss it one day – but I’m done.’”

Welp, they might be over it — but we sure can’t wait till April to see what exactly came of that grueling ordeal. Until then, check out the tiny bit of new footage HBO recently released from Season 8 here.
