We interrupt your 500th rewatch/replay (whatever you wanna call it) of “Bandersnatch” to give you some fresh “Black Mirror” news: series creator Charlie Brooker has told Jimmi Simpson his ideas for a possible “U.S.S. Callister” spinoff and they are “f–king awesome.”

“I will say, unofficially, that was– we’ve always talked about it,” Simpson told TheWrap, when we asked about the possible “Callister” offshoot’s status — while discussing his upcoming Epix drama series, “Perpetual Grace, LTD” — at the Television Critics Association press tour Sunday.

“Charlie told me he had great ideas; I’m not holding him to that,” he added, laughing.

Simpson, who starred in “U.S.S. Callister” alongside Cristin Milioti and Jesse Plemons, said that when Brooker pitched him his thoughts on a possible spinoff of the Emmy-winning Season 4 episode, he responded, “‘F–k yeah, I’m there.’”

“He said that it’s his favorite episode and he just wants it to live on,” Simpson said.

In fact, Simpson says Brooker told him what he’s got planned if the Netflix anthology series revisits the 2017 episode, and “they’re really f–king awesome” ideas.

“So maybe, maybe,” he added.

No premiere date has been set for “Black Mirror” Season 5, which Simpson tells us he is definitely not a part of. We should also make it clear Netflix and Brooker have yet to confirm they are actually planning on making a “U.S.S. Callister” spinoff.

You may now go back to “Bandersnatch”-ing.
