Just when you thought Fergie’s … um … distinctive rendition of the National Anthem before the 2018 NBA All-Star Game was a thing of the past, social media steps up and throws you a reminder.

After Anthony Hamilton’s performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the start of this year’s All-Star game, folks on Twitter took a walk down Memory Lane by posting their favorite memes of Fergie’s 2018 interpretation of the song that gave everyone from Steph Curry to Jimmy Kimmel the giggles.

Here are a few of the many memes on Sunday remembering her unique take.

Last year, Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, called Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green a “prick” for laughing on camera as Fergie wrapped up the anthem.

“I was p—ed off at Draymond Green, first of all, I think he owed her an apology,” Duhamel said. “I thought he was kind of a prick, just because he knew the camera was on him and he snickered about it.”

Green, in response, joined several teammates — including Curry, Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins — in clowning Fergie’s performance once again in the locker room skit.

As for the actual 2019 All-Star Game, Team LeBron from the Western Conference made a storming comeback to beat Team Giannis.
