YouTube TV Hires NBCU Executive Lori Conkling as Global Head of Partnerships

Conkling will also lead partnerships for Google FIber

Lori Conkling is leaving NBCUniversal to lead partnerships for YouTube TV. Conkling will also lead partnerships for Google Fiber, the company’s internet service division.

In her new role, Conkling will lead YouTube TV’s programming and packaging strategies, which includes negotiating all deals with cable networks, regional sports networks, affiliates and broadcasters. Based out of New York, Conkling will report to YouTube’s VP of content and partnerships Kelly Merryman.

During her six years at NBC, Conkling served as EVP of strategy and business development, focusing on cross-platform content and monetization. Previously, she led MVPD negotiations for The Walt Disney Company, Lifetime Networks and A+E Networks.

Launched in 2017, YouTube TV offers its customers a linear TV experience through internet-connected devices such as Roku and Apple TV. Priced at $40 per month, the service includes more than 50 channels including NBCUniversal, CBS, Fox Networks and Disney-ABC and cable channels ESPN, ESPN2, Fox News Channel, CBNC, and MSNBC.
