Sean Hannity Needles ‘Lowlife’ Alec Baldwin: ‘Becoming More and More Unhinged’

“He’s obsessed with Fox News, talk radio and even yours truly,” Fox News host says

Sean Hannity made it clear Tuesday evening that he was no fan of Alec Baldwin, mocking the actor for what he said was his failed career in talk radio, and making light of a series of outbursts and legal troubles Baldwin has had over the years.

“Crazy Alec Baldwin, very angry man, becoming more and more unhinged,” Hannity laughed.  “He’s obsessed with Fox News, talk radio and even yours truly.”

The Hannity attack was precipitated by an appearance from Baldwin on the Howard Stern radio show on March 27 in which the actor disparaged Hannity in cuttingly personal terms.

“Hannity is an idiot and he is an untalented idiot. He has no talent whatsoever. None,” Baldwin said. “He’s a ranting, he’s like a janitor … he’s like a Long Island working class buffoon.”

The primetime Fox News host was too happy to replay the remarks on his broadcast.

“OK Alec,” Hannity said addressing Baldwin directly.”I’m so dumb. [If ]what I do in radio and TV is so easy, why have you failed at a cable TV news show, a network show — and you and I both know you wanted to work in talk radio. You failed and flopped in both these businesses over and over again.”

Hannity then played multiple clips of Baldwin from an old radio show in 2006 — including one where he and fellow conservative radio host Mark Levin called up to troll him.

“Are you 40 or 50-pounds overweight now?” Levin mocked at the time. Like Hannity, Levin has also gone on to a hosting career at Fox News.

Hannity said he had much more material to work with but cut it out after five minutes out of what he said was respect for Baldwin’s daughter and brother, Stephen.

Reps for Baldwin did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Long a lighting rod among conservatives, Baldwin has reached new levels of enmity with his regular portrayals of President Trump on “Saturday Night Live.” The impersonation has irked the billionaire so much that he has complained about it publicly on Twitter on multiple occasions.

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad,” he said back in 2016. Trump is known to have preferred Darrell Hammond (who used to portray him before Trump was president)

“Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on ‘SNL,’ now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!,” Trump said in 2018.
