“Tully” and “Blade Runner 2049” actress Mackenzie Davis and “That ’70s Show” alum Topher Grace are joining the cast of Jon Stewart’s next film “Irresistible,” Focus Features announced Wednesday.

Davis joins the previously announced cast of Steve Carell, Rose Byrne and Chris Cooper in the political comedy. The project is the second feature for Stewart, who also wrote the screenplay and will produce alongside Plan B Entertainment. Focus Features and Universal Pictures International will distribute the film worldwide.

“Irresistible” is the story of a Democrat political consultant (Carell) who helps a retired Marine colonel (Cooper) run for mayor in a small Wisconsin town.

Davis will be seen starring in the latest installment of the “Terminator” franchise, “Terminator: Dark Fate,” opposite Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger. She’s represented by United Talent Agency and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.

Grace, meanwhile, was recently seen in Spike Lee’s “BlacKkKlansman,” “Under the Silver Lake” with Andrew Garfield and in “War Machine” with Brad Pitt, “Truth” opposite Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford, as well as in Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar.” He’ll next be seen as Dr. Peter Jahrling in National Geographic’s Memorial Day miniseries “The Hot Zone” opposite Julianna Margulies.

Grace is represented by ICM Partners and Lighthouse Management + Media.

Upcoming on Focus’s slate are Jim Jarmusch’s “The Dead Don’t Die” with Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Chloë Sevigny, Tilda Swinton, Steve Buscemi, and Selena Gomez; “Harriet,” about the iconic freedom fighter Harriet Tubman starring Cynthia Erivo and Leslie Odom Jr.; Participant Media’s untitled Todd Haynes film with Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway; Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller “Last Night in Soho” from Working Title; and the anticipated “Downton Abbey” movie starring the original cast.

Deadline first reported the news of Davis’ and Grace’s casting.
