‘Double Shot at Love’: Christina Thinks She’s Wasting Her Life, and the Food Might Not Be Organic (Exclusive Video)

“Jersey Shore” spinoff dating show was the biggest premiere across all of cable in fiscal 2019, according to MTV

Christina may be done with her “Double Shot at Love.” Not even two weeks into the MTV dating show, she’s already threatening to quit.

“I have such a good life,” she says in an exclusive sneak peek at next week’s episode, which sees her preparing to take her things and go. “I live five minutes away from here, and being here I don’t know if there’s a gym. I could be working out. I don’t even know if the food that I’m eating is organic or not. I don’t know where my chicken is coming from.”

A spinoff of “Jersey Shore” starring Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino, “Double Shot at Love” debuted on MTV last week to 3.3 million viewers over three days, according to Nielsen. The premiere’s 1.22 rating among adults under 50 marks the biggest premiere across all of cable in fiscal 2019, according to MTV.

The series puts a spin on the dating show format, with the 20 female contestants competing to avoid elimination, while the “Jersey Shore” vets simultaneously compete for their affection. Pauly and Vinny  have the last word on who stays and who goes, but the women ultimately get to decide which Jersey boy they’ll end up with.

And it looks like Christina is choosing neither: “I think I’m wasting my life,” she says in the clip. “I have, like, a really short lifespan, it’s only like 150 years. Life goes by fast, and I don’t want to spend it wasting it.”

“Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on MTV.
