“Game of Thrones” has released new photos from the upcoming fourth episode of the show’s eighth and final season.
In the eight pictures from Sunday’s installment (which HBO has yet to release a title for), it appears Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is plotting her trek down to King’s Landing, now that the Battle of Winterfell has been won, thanks to Arya’s (Maisie Williams) epic slaying of the Night King and thus the entire undead army under his command. At the Mother of Dragons’ side are Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Varys (Conleth Hill), suggesting who might be Dany’s most loyal followers at this point.
Other photos show the aftermath of last Sunday’s “The Long Night,” and the giant pile of dead bodies outside the Starks’ ancestral home, which are about to be burned on pyres by Dany, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) and Sam (John Bradley).
And then there is a shot of Cersei (Lena Headey) and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) who look perfectly chill in King’s Landing, not worried at all about the coming threat.
See the photos below.
“Game of Thrones” airs Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.
